About us

Rabe Chemie is a chemical works, based at Weinau in The Sudmark. The company was founded on 8 February 1880 by Dagny Rabe and has traded for 146 years.

Rabe Chemie was established at Weinau in the confident years of the last century and has never left. We supply soda, bleach and mordants to every region of the country and, by appointment, to the regiments. Our books are open to our shareholders and our doors to our customers.

Our founder. Dagny Rabe, vintner, was born at Weinwick on 4 December 1836 and died on 13 September 1901.

Our principal lines are soda, bleach and mordants. Price lists on application; inspection invited at Weinau.
